The world class triathlon series competition Ironman 70.3. A much renowned and anticipated race featuring, besides the eager Japanese athletes, many elite and amateur participants from all over the world.
The event will take place in a large area spanning two cities, Tahara City and Toyohashi City, with beautiful Atsumi Peninsula as main stage for the course, which will cover 1.9 km by swimming, 90.1 km by bicycle and 21.1 km by foot, in a staggering total of 113.1 km, or the 70.3 miles of the competition's namesake.
