Toyohashi Zoo & Botanical Park [Non Hoi Park]

The concept of the zoo is to create a sense of closeness to the exploits of wild animals throughout it's 14 zones. You will encounter the giraffes walking in the grassland and monkeys in the treetops, as well as penguins and spotted seals among 900 animals of some 170 species. There's a "friendly farm" offering the chance to interact close up with sheep, miniature pigs, rabbits and so on which is very popular with the children.

Unlimited rides are on offer at the amusement park for a 1,000 yen day ticket.

The 12 rides available include a kids roller-coaster, flower cup ride, a merry-go-round and a children's train, each priced reasonably from 100 yen to 300 yen. An unlimited ride day ticket for adults is only 1,000 yen, so come and bring your whole family along! From the Ferris wheel, you get an unbroken view of Toyohashi City and the Shinkansen trains passing through. It's a great place for a date!
