The Parenting Plaza (Kosodate Plaza) within the Development Center for Children's Futures Coconico has wooden toys or large-scale play equipment to play with targeted towards children ages 3 and younger and their guardians.
In addition, information and consultations about child rearing are available in Japanese. Mainly intended for kindergarten and elementary school students, the Experience/Discovery Plaza Town Space (Taiken Hakken Plaza Machikukan) has around 100 hands-on sets or large-scale play equipment such as a streetcar driving simulation for kids to try.
