With over 1,300 years of history since its establishment, this place is known as "The Autumn Leaves Temple of Toyohashi." Featuring several structures designated as Important National Cultural Heritages, in autumn it increases its popularity due to the exuberant combination of majestic temples and autumnal foliage. Ceremonies and rituals are held during the festival period in order to celebrate the beauty of the nearby nature.
