Seasonal Festivals for Girls and Boys

Corresponding to the season for Joshi-no-Sekku (the Hina Festival) on March 3 and Tango-no-Sekku (Children’s Day) on May 5, cultural properties you normally can’t see are on display at Tahara Municipal Museum, including Tahara's Hina Dolls which have been handed down for generations and traditional kites made by the Tahara Kite Preservation Association. Take this opportunity to rediscover the ways of wishing for children’s healthy growth that are unique to Japanese culture along with Tahara's history.
