As electric illumination itself has roots in the olden days of the Meiji Period, the event is opportunely themed on the collaboration between modern technologies and the impressive collection of structures.

Frank Lloyd Wright, one of the representative architects of the twentieth century, designed the old Imperial Hotel. The illumination and musical show convey the story of the hotel from establishment to reconstruction, as well as the hotel's architectural wonders.

    •From either Meitetsu Bus Terminal (Nagoya Station) Platform 23, or Sakae Bus Terminal (Sakae) Platform 8, take the Meitetsu Bus bound for Meiji-Mura and get off at Meiji-Mura (approx. 1 hour 20 min. ride, 960 yen). (Reference: http://www.meitetsu-bus.co.jp/express/toukadai).
