- Japan Rhine Summer Festival and Long-Running Fireworks (Nihon Rain Natsu Matsuri Ronguran Hanabi)
The Kiso River in this section of Aichi Prefecture is nicknamed the "Japan Rhine" for its stunning beauty similar to the Rhine in Europe.
And Inuyama City's Japan Rhine Summer Festival and Long-Running Fireworks make it all the more exciting and visually stimulating. The literally long-running fireworks are shot off continuously each day for about ten minutes, blossoming into beautiful flowers of sparks before the nighttime illuminated Inuyama Castle, a national treasure of Japan.
