National Treasure Inuyama Castle is the backdrop for this spectacular fireworks show!

Inuyama-City's own gorgeous and famous, annual fireworks show. They are launched from boats floating in the middle of the Kisogawa River, the section between the Twin Bridges and the Rhine Ohashi Bridge – the very front of Inuyama Castle.

This part of the Kisogawa is nicknamed after the famous European river due to its scenic resemblance, featuring the steep hillsides looking like the valleys of the Rhine. This fireworks show, having as background the mountains and the illuminated castle, is unique and unforgettable!

EVENT OVERVIEW

Date : Fireworks August 10th (Friday), 2018
*: Event to be held even under light rain. In case of Kisogawa River's water level rising, or inclement weather, postpones to one of the eight days of the Long Run Fireworks, from August 12th (Sunday) to 19th (Sunday), 2018.
Holding time : Fireworks from 7:30 PM to 8:20 PM.
Place : Margins of the Kisogawa River, section between the Twin Bridges and the Rhine Ohashi Bridge.
Location : Inuyama-City, Aichi Prefecture, Japan

Fee : Free of charge
Parking : Strictly limited availability. Guests are strongly advised to use public transportation as best as possible.

Long Run Fireworks : Everyday from August 12th (Sunday) to 19th (Sunday), 2018 from 7:55 PM to 8:05 PM (approx. 200 shots/night)
