A three-day festival with Japanese floats and fireworks!

Citizens of Toyokawa City come together to parade local Japanese floats matching the summer heat with the fervor of their spirits in this festival for the Ko Oyashiro Jinja Shrine. At night, airborne and handheld fireworks fly through the air as only a true Japanese festival can offer.

Watch a famous Kabuki parade

Young men dressed as characters from classic Kabuki tales carry around a portable shrine together with the floats, painting a picture of what Japan once was.
