Anjo, the "Japanese Denmark"!

Denpark is a park that recreates Danish townscapes rich in nature and surrounded by seasonal flowers and greenery. There are restaurants offering natural food and local specialties made from local ingredients, as well as shops where you can buy sundries, sweets and imported snacks.

You can try all sorts of things, from making sausages to experiencing handicraft workshops, while children can play with the wooden or electric play equipment or in the playground, so the park is lots of fun for adults and children alike.

    •From Nagoya Station, take the JR Tokaido Main Line, alight at Anjo Station and take the Ankuru Bus Junkan Line (循環線 Loop Line) No. 0 (either clockwise or counterclockwise). Get off at Anjo Kosei Byoin (安城更生病院 Anjo Kosei Hospital) to change buses for the Nanbu Line (南部線 South Area Line) No. 3, riding it approx. 25 min. and getting off at Denpark.
    •From Nagoya Station, take the Meitetsu Nagoya Line, alight at Shin-Anjo Station to change trains for the Meitetsu Nishio Line. Alight at Sakurai Station and take the Ankuru Bus Sakurai-Nishi Line (桜井西線) No. 9, riding it approx. 8 min. and getting off at Denpark.
