Early spring between late February and early April at the Tokugawaen Garden is when plum, peach, and cherry blossoms decorate the premises, while a series of events themed on the flowery season welcomes the visitors.

Admission free of charge on March 19 (Sunday) in commemoration to the "Tokugawaen Origin Day".
* Events and the free opening of the park on March 19 may be changed or cancelled for pandemic reasons.

Early Spring Events at Tokugawaen Garden

•"Tokugawaen no Nagashi Hina"
Handmade hina dolls attached to small buoys decorate the garden's pond at the "Tokugawaen no Nagashi Hina" release of dolls.
Holding time: February 23 (Thursday - holiday) 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM
Place: In front of Tokugawaen Garden Hall
Capacity: 150 guests - distribution of numbered tickets on a first-come, first-served basis starting 12:45 PM.

•"Kuromon" Craft Market Fair
Tokugawaen’s well-established craft market fair where a bustling line of stalls sell over 30 types of handmade crafts.
Holding time: March 19 (Sunday) 10:00 AM - 3:00 PM
