Date : 02/16/2020

  • Kite Flying Festival "Tako-age Matsuri" (138 Tower Park)

Have a fun weekend making and flying kites at the 138 Tower Park in Ichinomiya-City! You may fly an already made one (free of charge) or take part in the workshop for crafting your own Japanese "Tako" kite (requires a small fee). Other activities such as attempting to lift daisy-chained kites, and Japanese "Taiko" drum performances will complete the fun!

This majestic place is the largest urban park in Japan with an awesome 6,107 hectares (top of the Urban Park category as ranked by the Ministry of Land and Infrastructure - National Forest Reserves and National Forest Parks are not included).
