Come, See, Make, and Taste

The year 2020 marks 355 years since the establishment of Morita Co., Ltd. Filled with appreciation for the continued support of everyone in the local area, Morita will hold a warehouse sale event at Kosugaya factory. Taste the Morita products of today that originated in Tokoname and were developed over hundreds of years using traditional techniques.

-Only available here! Sale of freshly brewed, undiluted sake shots
-All-you-can-pack sake lees or Japanese pickles
-Morita and NENOHINO sake tasting, sale of limited-time warehouse sake and new products
-Sale of hatcho miso by weight
-Only available here! Sale of nama shoyu by weight
-Various food stalls (tamari soy sauce ramen made with sake lees, “tonjiru” miso soup with pork, “oden” and other menu items unique to Morita)

-Stirring fermenting mash with a pole
-Display of Aichi Prefecture’s ideal sake-brewing rice, “wakamizu”
-Sake lectures by the chief brewer (First-come, first serve basis. Please apply at reception)
-Miso warehouse tour (First-come, first serve basis. Please apply at reception)
-Miso-ball making (First-come, first-serve basis)
-Make-your-own Japanese sake label
-Kids’ space (Shooting gallery, ring toss, etc.)

The Raykay Archives and the garden of the Morita home will be specially open to the public during the event. Take this opportunity to stop in for a visit!
