A quiet hot spring town listed in Japan's top 100 hot springs

Amid stunning scenery, this hot spring town spreads along the Itajiki River in the Horaikyo Valley. It has over 1,300 years of history. Hot spring ryokans and hotels for day and overnight trippers as well as free footbaths flank the streets.
