Kicking off an astounding feat of athleticism

The Triathlon Irago Pre-Event Fireworks Display acts as the gun fired to start off a triathlon competition in the oceanside town of Irago, Tahara City. Gorgeous explosions create halos of fire to cheer for the athletes taking on the tremendous triathlon with numerous other events and nighttime street vendors.

    • From Toyohashi Station (board the JR Tokaido Main Line or Meitetsu Nagoya Line from Nagoya Station), take the Toyotetsu Bus's Irago Main Line bound for Iragomisaki (approx. 100 min. ride) and get off at Koijigahama Bus Stop.
    • From Mikawatahara Station of the Toyotetsu Atsumi Line (board from Shintoyohashi Station, in turn reachable by JR Tokaido Main Line or Meitetsu Nagoya Line from Nagoya Station), take the Toyotetsu Bus's Irago Main Line bound for Iragomisaki (approx. 55 min. ride) and get off at Koijigahama Bus Stop.
