Fantastic lantern-lit boats and fireworks at a gorgeous location!

The Miyoshi Lake Festival (Miyoshi-Ike Matsuri) takes place at Miyoshi Lake, in the city of Miyoshi, southeast of Nagoya. The artificial lake, which brought prosperity to the city by attracting agriculture and industry thanks to the steady flow of water it provides, is the stage for a beautiful display of fireworks that annually attracts incredible numbers of visitors!

1,200 fireworks reflected on the lake's surface!

In the sky, astounding fireworks. On the lake, seven float boats decorated with 401 paper lanterns. These boats sit serenely on the water against a background of pyrotechnics mirrored on the lake surface.
Come and enter this magical, fantastic world of light.

• From the Tsurumai Subway Line: At Akaike Station, board the Meitetsu Bus bound for Toyota City, get off at Araya (新屋) Bus Stop, and walk 10 min.
• From the Meitetsu Mikawa Line: At Toyotashi Station, board the Meitetsu Bus bound for Akaike, get off at Araya (新屋) Bus Stop, and walk 10 min.
• From the Meitetsu Toyota Line: At Kurozasa Station or Miyoshigaoka Station, board the Sansan Bus, get off at Araya (新屋) Bus Stop, and walk 10 min.
