A collaborative display of giant lanterns and fireworks

Three giant lanterns 11 meters high make an awe-inspiring appearance at the city of Miyoshi's Giant Lantern Festival, held every summer. These lanterns are truly gigantic—so much so that one was recognized as the world's largest in 2017!
The event takes place over two days with the second day highlighted by numerous events, such as "bo no te" martial arts performances using bows, traditional Japanese music performances, and a stunning fireworks finale. And of course, numerous food vendors make an appearance to keep you appetite satisfied throughout!
