Anjo, the "Japanese Denmark"!

Denpark is a park that recreates Danish townscapes rich in nature and surrounded by seasonal flowers and greenery. From a reputation as the "Japanese Denmark" came the name "Denpark". A plaza with a 19-meter-high windmill characteristic of European country also features a 55-meter-long roller slide and other fun, making it a wonderland for children to play in. A Denmark townscape is also recreated inside of a giant floral greenhouse, hosting seasonal flower shows and shopping for trinkets with a taste of Northern Europe.

Or take part in a number of hands-on programs letting you create a variety of things, such as a workshop letting you make your own sausages. Eateries satiate your appetite using locally produced ingredients and serving local specialties. The gelatos and sausages are especially popular.

Have a ball at Denpark—the go-to park for kids

Some of Japan's largest athletic play equipment makes its home in Denpark's outdoor expanse with indoor fun for rainy days too. In fact, the park reopened after renovations on Saturday, March 17, 2018 to let children enjoy an even more free and diverse play environment.

• Windmill Plaza
Wooden play equipment—some of the largest in Japan—built with a motif of steam locomotives, cars, and cottages allows children to use their bodies in challenging ways as if climbing a tree. The equipment lets kids gauge differences in height, so they can determine how high they are safely willing to go as they play.

• Children's Plaza
Enjoy play equipment conscious of different ages from infants and older in an environment letting them come into contact with nature. Kids are sure to have a great time, but parents too can use the space to interact with one another and unwind.

• Asobo Ne Indoor Playground
Use your heart, imagination, and body without worrying about the weather at this indoor playground.
In the Active Zone, you can run, jump, climb, slide, and move around with your entire body. The Role Playing Zone lets you step in the shoes of a cook, store owner, or other role and use your imagination as you speak and work with possible patrons who come along—an early look into societal roles and real-world activities. Finally, the Baby Zone, for infants 6–18 months of age, offers a safe environment to crawl and play and foster their eyesight, hearing, sense of touch, and other developmental aspects.
