The amazing "Tsunabi" Rope-on-Fire that brightens the shrine grounds

A unique fireworks festival appointed Intangible Folk Cultural Heritage of Aichi Prefecture, with over 400 years of history. Featuring an amazing ritual of fireworks that when lit run along a rope suspended over the Sando peregrination street in front of the Toyokawa Susanoo Shrine, it also has Tezutsu hand held and Ozutsu giant cannon fireworks, floats, portable shrines and traditional dances.
