The Amazing "Tsunabi" Rope-on-Fire That Brightens the Shrine Grounds

A unique fireworks festival appointed Intangible Folk Cultural Heritage of Aichi Prefecture, with over 400 years of history. Featuring an amazing ritual of fireworks that, when lit, runs along a rope suspended over the Sando peregrination street in front of the Toyokawa Susanoo Shrine. There are also Tezutsu hand-held fireworks and Ozutsu giant cannon fireworks, floats, portable shrines and traditional dances.
