Leisurely Clamming On A Wide, Shallow Sandy Beach

Shellfish Gathering is a leisure activity done mainly from April to June, where people dig up and collect shellfish from within the sand of shallow sandy beaches. Minamichita is a fishing town famous for being a place where you can eat various kinds of fresh, delicious seafood. The taste of the clams taken from the waters of its wide shallow beaches is exceptional.
