A Big and Colorful Blooming Profusion!

From the beginning to the middle of every June, around 10,000 hydrangeas from about 90 different species all bloom in profusion throughout the whole of Otsuka Shokai Temple Historical Park.

Inazawa Hydrangea Festival (Inazawa Ajisai Matsuri)

With a Saturday and Sunday during this period as the two main event days, there are stage events, parades by kindergarten children from the city, hydrangea consultations and potted flowers on sale.

ACCESS

Access by public transport

-5 min. by taxi from Konomiya Station of the Meitetsu Nagoya Line (board the train bound for Inuyama and Gifu from Meitetsu Nagoya Station)
-Free shuttle bus available on weekends during the festival period, departing every 30min. from Konomiya Station to the venue (9:15 AM to 3:15 PM) and from the venue to Konomiya Station (10:00 AM to 4:00 PM)

-Approx. 20 min. (7.4km) westwards from Haruhi Exit of the Nagoya Expressway No. 16 Ichinomiya Route via routes 22, 62, 136, and 139, or;
-Approx. 16 min. (6.3km) westwards from Nishiharu Exit of the Nagoya Expressway No. 16 Ichinomiya Route via routes 22, 161, 155, 62, and 139.
