The traditional Plum Blossoms Festival of Minami Park in Okazaki City, celebrating the 200 plum trees of 20 species that start to bloom in mid-February till early March. On weekends, guests are entertained by performance shows of Okazaki City's own team of Samurai and warriors, the Aoi Bushotai, and street performers. Stalls of merchants selling food also grace the event.

Fee	: Kids Rides (Squirrel-copter, Merry Go-Round, Ferris Wheel, Tea Cups): 100 yen Mini-Train, Cycle Monorail: 60 yen Go-Kart 1 person: 40 yen (limited to children ages 9 to 14) Go-Kart 2 persons: 60 yen (limited to one adult over 18 and one child ages 9 to 14)

Parking	: Available, free of charge (cap. 280 cars) *: Temporary Parking Lot to be open near the Plum Orchard.

ACCESS

Access by public transport

From Higashi Okazaki Station of the Meitetsu Nagoya Main Line take the Meitetsu Bus bound to Miai via Shokokaigisho-mae and Midorigaoka (other lines also available), get off at Minamikoen-kita and walk southwards 5 min.
From Okazaki Station of the JR Tokaido Main Line, take the Meitetsu Bus bound to Fukuoka-cho via Minami Wakamatsu (other lines also available), get off at Wakamatsu-cho and walk eastwards 8 min.
Access by car

From Okazaki I.C. of the Tomei Expressway (take the Okazaki/Nagoya direction upon exiting), turn left at the Okazaki I.C. West intersection and head south by Route 26 for 4.5km. At the intersection with Route 248 turn right and head north for 700m. The park will be to the left. Look for the large metallic sign of a triangle inside a circle.
