Okazaki-City Okazaki Hero Ieyasu Illumination

Date : 11/01/2020 - 01/11/2021

  • Okazaki Hero Ieyasu Illumination 2019

Experience a Magical World of Light

Okazaki Park gets decorated with 200,000 light bulbs for a winter celebration in honor of Hero Tokugawa Ieyasu. The collaboration between Okazaki Castle’s light-up and the illumination is not to be missed! This year, the illumination around Okazaki Park is the last of four places with a colorful four season illumination theme, starting with Ieyasu Hiroba in front of Higashi-Okazaki Station. In the vicinity of the red Shinkyo bridge is “autumn,” while the area extending from the well whose water was used to give babies their first baths to the Enazuka monument is decorated as “winter.”
