A snow resort just for kids!

The Asahi Kogen Genki-Mura is a place that in the summer has grounds for camping and other outdoor activities, while in winter its snow machines are used to make this delightful snow-covered slope where kids can go sledding. Skiing and snowboarding is prohibited, so its safe, and kids can have a blast! The slope has about 100 meters in length, and a moving conveyor will take the kids to the top of the hill again and again for endless fun!
Adults will find nice relaxing places to rest at the restaurant or cafe and other convenient facilities.

2019-2020 Winter Season Gelände Opening Event

Event participation requires paid admission to slope.

December 7th (Saturday) and 8th (Sunday), 2019

For all kids ages 12 and younger (one bag per kid) for the first 100 children (get the voucher from Asahi mascot character Kokki and show at the ticket office to claim the gift)

• Free Serving of Sato-imo Taro Stew
A tasty delight made with taro grown at Asahi Kogen Genki-Mura!
Start at 1:30 PM - ends when supply runs out.

*: Skis, snowboards and handcrafted sleds are prohibited.
*: Sleds deemed dangerous in case of collision or that may pose as difficult to be controlled may not be allowed to be used.
*: Depending on the weather temperature, sections of the slope may be interdicted.
*: The facility announcement that season ends on March 31st is not a guarantee that snow will be available until that day.

    Access by car
    From the Chikaraishi I.C. of the Sanage Green Road, turn left and head east by Route 153 for 19.3km. Turn left at the Asukawa Crossing (after the gasoline stand) entering Route 366 and head north for 4.9km then turn right to enter the mountain road (approx. 150m after the point where Route 490 meets Route 366). Follow the winding road for 3.5km.
