Wisteria blossoms dance on the vine and broadcast their scents into the wind

The Fujioka area of Toyota City holds its Wisteria Festival as the flowers come into full bloom during Japan's consecutive Golden Week holiday in early May. Tourism info, retail of local produce and other specialties, band and Bo no Te acrobatic martial arts performances, as well as other events act as an accent to the floral festival.

Experience Nordic walking with a instructor's (Hirokazu Aoki) guidance (in Japanese) as you walk through Wisteria Alley and the surrounding area (approx. 4 km).

Fee: Free of charge (reservation required)
Walk along Wisteria Alley with guidance (in Japanese) from Fujioka Tourism Ambassador Yuki Satozono.
