The annual event of Tsukude District in Shinshiro-City, held at the Roadside Station Tsukude Tezukuri Mura, adjacent to the Ruins of Kameyama Castle site, which in turn was the residence of the samurai lord of the region, Okudaira Nobumasa, during the Senkoku Warring States period.

The festival's main attraction is the demonstration of matchlock arquebuses fire by performers dressed in character as soldiers and samurai of olden times. Other events include shows of Japanese Taiko drums, Kyudo archery performances, songs and performing arts, and much more.

Access by public transport

From Shinshiro Station of the JR Iida Line (board from Toyohashi Station, in turn reachable by JR Tokaido Main Line or Meitetsu Nagoya Line from Nagoya Station), take the Shinshiro S-Bus Tsukude Line (新城Sバス作手線 Tsukude Sen), get off at Tsukude Tezukuri Mura (つくで手作り村) (approx. 35 min. ride - 200 yen) and walk southwards 2 min.

-Approx. 35 min. northwestwards from Shinshiro I.C. of the Shin-Tomei Expressway via routes 151 and 301; or
