The concept is Farming - Nature - Crafting

Climb the winding uphill road from downtown Shinshiro-City and, at the altitude of 550 meters, you'll reach the Tsukude Kogen Plateau and this cute roadside station.
Experience the relaxing simplicity of the countryside with rich tastes, beautiful nature, and the rewarding feel of hands-on crafts - things you will not find in the city.

Roadside Station

Find agriculture and forestry produce of the municipality, as well as byproducts, restaurant dishes made with ingredients of each season, and woodcrafts. Experiment cooking with locally grown tomatoes or have fun petting the ducks and rabbits. The facility also has an information center where visitors can find fresh new tourist hints and tips.

A wide variety of fresh vegetables, ham, sausage, sweets and more!

Shop for freshly harvested produce from the Okumikawa Area, whether as gifts or for your own household use. The nutritiously tasty and unusual Tomato Soft Serve, as well as the more common Tomato Juice and the locally made Frankfurt Sausages, are among the most popular dishes from the menu.

Call in advance and make reservations for an open-air BBQ party. All you need to bring is your wallet - the staff will arrange and prepare all the materials and ingredients for an enjoyable meal using Tsukude Beef, homemade sausages, vegetables of the season, and more.

Meet the cute Call Dusk mascots!

The couple of call ducks joined the facility in November of 2016. Being the smallest species of duck in the world, Baru and Ami are extremely cute and friendly. Recently, a new brown call duck was also born. Come and meet them!
