  • Nagoya Women's Marathon

The Nagoya Women's Marathon is one of the world's largest women's marathons, held in the city of Nagoya. The competition doubles as a chance for scouts to seek out track and field and other international athletes as representatives of Japan, but hosts a total of 20,000 Nagoya residents, making it a major municipal marathon as well.
The competition has also gained notoriety for offering each runner an original Tiffany pendant.

    Access by public transport
    • JR Chuo Line from Nagoya Station: Get off at Ozone Station, then walk approx. 15 min. east.
    • Higashiyama Subway Line from Nagoya Station: Get off at Sakae Station, change trains to the Meitetsu Seto Line at Sakaemachi Station. Get off at Ozone Station, then walk approx. 15 min. east.
    • Yutorito Line bus from JR/Meitetsu Ozone Station: Alight at Nagoya Dome-Mae Yada Bus Stop, then walk approx. 5 min. southeast.

    Notes:
    • On the day of the event, Nagoya Dome-mae Yada Station on the Meijo Subway Line is expected to experience congestion, so visitors are asked to use Ozone Station from either the JR Chuo Line or Meitetsu Seto Line when possible.
    • On the day of the event, the Meijo Subway Line (clockwise) is expected to experience congestion. The following alternatives are recommended: Meijo Subway Line (counterclockwise) from Kanayama Station, the JR Chuo Line from Nagoya Station, or the Meitetsu Seto Line from Sakaemachi Station.
