A park conveying the world of Studio Ghibli

Packed with recreations of the worlds within the Studio Ghibli films cherished by so many around the world, Ghibli Park came to life on November 1, 2022 in Expo 2005 Aichi Commemorative Park (Moricoro Park).
The park consists of five areas in total. On November 1, 2022, Ghibli's Grand Warehouse, Hill of Youth, and Dondoko Forest opened in the first phase. Mononoke Village next opened on November 1, 2023 with the Valley of Witches opening in March 2024, completing the second phase.
Experience the worldview of Studio Ghibli productions using your own two feet to stroll through its characteristic forests and along its picturesque pathways.

Studio Ghibli's very first tourism video, Play along with the Wind, was also created for the park's opening. It showcases the charm of Aichi—Home of Ghibli Park.

Ghibli's Grand Warehouse

This massive indoor facility is virtually a Ghibli Exposition and is brimming with various exhibits of Studio Ghibli works. Here, you find a theater, three special exhibitions, a shop and a cafe, all chock-full of that Ghibli goodness.
Its construction took advantage of the heated pool area that closed in 2018, and since it is entirely roofed, guests are able to enjoy comfortably even during rainy weather.

Hill of Youth

Located near the north entrance of Expo 2005 Aichi Commemorative Park, this area greets visitors and guides them into the world of Ghibli Park.
Here, you can step into the worlds from Whisper of the Heart and The Cat Returns.
At the World Emporium from Whisper of the Heart, you'll see both an antique shop and violin workshop, matching the atmosphere of the movie.
The Elevator Tower features design elements from late-19th-century science fiction, such as that seen in Castle in the Sky and Howl's Moving Castle, and is located near the park's North Gate Square with visitation open to anyone even without an admission ticket.

Dondoko Forest

Inspired by the environment depicted in My Neighbor Totoro, you will find Satsuki and Mei's House in an area surrounded by greenery. Explore also along the pathway in the forest behind the mountain where, on the top of the mountain, huge wooden Totoro-shaped children play equipment Dondoko-do stands.
Enjoy a relaxing time no matter your age.

Mononoke Village

Mononoke Village is modeled on Emishi Village and Iron Town, appearing in the film Princess Mononoke, and portrays a traditional Japanese mountain village.
At Tatara-ba, created in the image of Iron Town, you can grill your own rural cuisine of gohei mochi—skewered rice cakes covered in a sweet miso sauce. The area is also home to a Demon Spirit Structure and slide made in the image of Lord Okkoto as well as Emishi Village's Watchtower and other aspects offering a perspective into the world of Princess Mononoke.

Valley of Witches

Valley of Witches boasts the largest area of Ghibli Park's five areas and offers a look into the worlds of Kiki's Delivery Service, Howl's Moving Castle, Earwig and the Witch, and other witch-themed films.
Peer into the world of witches and their lives through buildings like Howl's Castle, the creature-like crawling castle from the film Howl's Moving Castle, at around 20 meters high; the Okino Residence, where Kiki of Kiki's Delivery Service stayed before starting on her training to become a witch; and the House of Witches, which adopted Earwig in Earwig and the Witch.
