Asahi Nature Highland is a hands-on, nature-oriented facility in the city of Toyota's mountainous Asahi area with BBQ areas, camping grounds, and lots more. Once winter arrives, Asahi Nature Highland offers a sledding hill with artificial snow for slippery fun even when there is little snowfall.
The sledding hill isn't a small corner you'll typically see at most ski slopes but rather an exclusive sledding hill, so there's no need to worry about colliding with skiers or snowboarders. The hill measures 100 meters from top to bottom with innumerable thrills all the way down!
Plus, once you've made it to the bottom, there's no need to hike back up to the top as you can take the special moving walkway.

Sledding Hill opening events

Enjoy the opening events for the Sledding Hill's season beginning on Saturday, December 16 and Sunday, December 17.

1. Assorted treats from Asahi's mascot Cocky
• Applicable ages: 0–elementary school ages (1 bag/child)

Notes:
• Held on a first-come, first-served basis for the first 150 children.
• Receive a coupon upon ticket purchase at the Genki-Kan Building.


2. Potato stew
• Available to: Customers with a ticket to the sledding hill
• Time: From 1:30 pm each day

Cocky appearance schedule:
• Times: 11:00 am–11:15 and 2:00 pm–2:15 pm
• Interaction fee: Free

• Paid admission required for events.
• Opening may be postponed due to circumstances surrounding the Sledding Hill.
