This year's illumination theme is Botanical Town: Prince of Earth. Look upon a townscape of little folk as they live together with nature and its animal and insect inhabitants.
Reflect upon the nature and the warmth of those close to you as you stroll through Nagoya's mystically sparkling Hoshigaoka area. This year's event too is held in cooperation with Sugiyama Jogakuen University, and the houses and flowers decorated about are the creations of students.
