Tokai-City Winter Illumination in Otagawa

The Winter Illumination in Otagawa event is held each winter at the event areas (Donden Plaza / Oyane Plaza) and rotary in front of Meitetsu Otagawa Station. The east and west of the station are unified in a magnificent illumination based on the theme of that year.
A gigantic tapestry of mainly blue hues and a width of 9 meters unfolds at Oyane Plaza, a 10-meter tree tall enough to be seen from the station sparkles at Donden Plaza, and other artistic illuminations paint the station area in dazzling shades of light. Dress warmly, and come out to enjoy the pure magnificence.
