Taste and evaluate the best souvenirs of Aichi-Nagoya!
100 “Gaijin” Will Decide!
Aichi Prefecture, together with Nagoya City, is proud to announce the first edition of the “Aichi-Nagoya Food and Sweet Souvenir Contest - Judged by 100 Foreigners”, which will choose the best food and sweet souvenir products made in Aichi-Nagoya, in the opinion of the foreigners living in the prefecture.
As the number of tourists from overseas visiting Aichi increases steadily every year, nothing better than let the foreigners decide which “Omiyage” souvenir is the best, in the eyes of the “gaijin”, right?
Judges will taste and evaluate the processed food and sweets submitted by their respective manufacturers, following a pre-determined set of criteria such as taste, price, appearance, portability during travel, and others.
Do you live in Aichi Prefecture? Are you free on September 30th (Friday), 2016? Then join us in deciding the fate of those delicious Aichi-Nagoya treats!
