A Ceremony Through the Night in Honor of 8 Million Souls

Held at the Hachiman Shrine Dancing Grounds, this festival is peculiar to this district regarding the number of "kami" souls it honors. This traditional performance art has over 700 years of history, and is a Designated Important National Intangible Cultural Folkloric Heritage. Please prepare warm clothes for the low temperatures at night.

    From Toyohashi Station, take the JR Iida Line and alight at Toei Station, take the Toei Line Bus and get off at Hongo, take the Toyone Toei Line Bus to Toyone Yakuba Mae (Toyone Town Hall) but get off at Kingoshi to take the Sakauba Line Bus, and get off at Miyajima (the venue is behind (east side) the Roadside Station Toyone Green Port Miyajima).

    At the Hamamatsu-Inasa Junction of the New Tomei Expressway, change to the San-en-Nanshin Expressway. Upon exiting at Horaikyo I.C., head north by the Route 151 for approx. 32.3km (40 min.). The venue is near to the crossing with Route 426
