Rapeseed Blossoms come into bloom to announce the arrival of spring

The Kuroda Nanohana Rapeseed Blossoms Festival is held in The Shinshiro Rapeseed Blossom Net Association, a group made up by local citizens, gave form to their dream of an endless horizon of rapeseed blossoms by planting the flowers in unused farmland.
Shinshiro City's Kuroda area holds the Rapeseed Blossom Festival each year to let all enjoy the wondrous spectacle. Farmers markets and vendors too make an appearance, culminating in an extraordinary event.

Access by public transport

From Shinshiro Station on the JR Iida Line (board from Toyohashi Station, in turn reachable by the JR Tokaido Main Line or Meitetsu Nagoya Line from Nagoya Station), take the Shinshiro S Bus's Nakauri Line bound for Obata. Get off at Kuroda Bus Stop and walk 15 min. (1.3 km) northeast.

• Approx. 20 min. from Shinshiro Interchange on the Shin-Tomei Expressway.
• Approx. 20 min. from Toyokawa Interchange on the Tomei Expressway.
