During the Hot Summer Break, Mt. Chausu is Refreshingly Cool!

At a height of approximately 1,300 meters, Mt. Chausu Plateau is naturally cool. Even in the summer the average temperature is around 23℃, while events aimed at kids with boundless amounts of energy are held in the spacious grassy areas. This time of year is harvest season for locally grown blueberries, and visitors can experience picking their own blueberries at the foot of the mountain. Mt. Chausu Plateau also sells ice cream made with perfectly ripe blueberries and packs of fresh blueberries!
