An oh-so cool spot to spend your time during summer break!

Mt. Chausu Highland is naturally cool due to its elevation at an incredible 1,300 meters, maintaining an average temperature of around 23°C in summer. Events for energetic kids are also held in the spacious grassy areas.
This time of year is harvest season for locally grown blueberries, and visitors can pick their own blueberries at the foot of the mountain. Mt. Chausu Highland also sells ice cream made with perfectly ripe blueberries as well as packaged, fresh blueberries!
