A big festival with ancient origins and highly esteemed by both locals and visitors alike. Held annually for three days starting on May 3rd, the festival procedures include ancient rituals, traditional "Kyu-do" archery tournaments, "gyoretsu" processions and the famous "Yabusame" ceremony, in which teenagers will ride a horse running along a course within the shrine's premises - the colorful garments and horse decorations are much sought after by tourists from all parts of the country.
