The 2021 Kinuura Minato Festival Fireworks has been cancelled.

Handa-City, Hekinan-City, and Taketoyo-Town take turns hosting this fireworks show. In 2021 the host is Handa!

The fireworks launching is traditionally done from the strait above the Kinuura Tunnel and features large-sized star mines that reflect on the calm waters of the canal to romantic and fantastic effect. Getting as close to the sea as possible to watch this show is highly recommended.
