In addition to this proud procession, parade floats dressed to the hilt in history and tradition as well as designated cultural properties make an appearance together with sacred music and dances also designated as municipal cultural properties.
What's more, while the Hometown Heroes Parade which brings together Nagoya's definitive intangible cultural properties and intangible folk cultural properties in one place and the simultaneously held 75th Nagoya Odori Dance NEO hosts a variety of events, Nagoya tourism establishments such as Nagoya Castle and Higashiyama Zoo and Botanical Gardens open their doors for free.
