A tough and rigorous run through
the mountains of Okumikawa

For the 50th anniversary milestone of the Tokai Region Nature Trail's opening, the Okumikawa Power Trail is reborn as the Okumikawa Trail Running Race.

Course details

Course length: 35.5 km
Cumulative elevation gain: Approx. 2,700 m uphill / Approx. 3,000 m downhill
Time limit: 10 hrs.
Start: Shitara Town Taguchi Elementary School (Shitara Town)
Finish: Fureai Park Horai (Shinshiro City)

Participation conditions

• Males and females 18 years of age or older (age on the day of the competition)
• Runners able to stay on course complete the entire course. (Runners who have completed 25-kilometer or longer trail running courses or 40-kilometer or longer road races are encouraged to join, though not a prerequisite.)

Notes:
• Nighttime parking available. Please note that users may not enter or exit the parking lot from 8:00 pm on the day before the competition to 2:30 am on the day of the competition due to safety concerns.
• You may be directed to a different parking lot as the grounds within Fureai Park Horai become inaccessible during rainy weather.

    • Approx. 35 min. from Toyokawa Interchange on the Tomei Expressway.

    Notes:
    • Parking at the designated parking lot (Fureai Park Horai) and taking the shuttle bus (fee and prior application required) to the starting line is recommended.
    • Arriving in your own car or being dropped off by family or friends is also possible. However, since the roads in the area will be used as part of the course, please give yourself plenty of time as there will be traffic restrictions around the beginning of the competition.
