Okazaki Komadachi is a cooperative association that runs seven vineyards in the Komadachi District of Okazaki City. Despite being relatively close to the city center, it’s got a strong natural and rural feeling. At this bucolic place, which produces mainly grapes, the annual "Budo-Gari" Grape Picking takes place from July to October. But regardless of the month you choose to go, there is always one variety - or several at once - that are ripe. So no matter how many times you visit it, you probably won't grow tired of going there!

The seven farms also have other kinds of activities besides fruit picking, so you can never get bored! There's playing in the nearby river, small pools for the kids, barbecue places (reservations required) and more. In autumn, you may even be able to harvest some potatoes, or just get some exercise in the athletics field. Every week on Thursdays you can also try fishing by hand!
