Heart-pounding excitement at one of the largest night zoos!

Non Hoi Park (Tohoyashi Zoo & Botanical Park), once again holds its summer highlight: the Night Zoo! Enjoy a variety of Night Zoo-only events and activities such as caretakers' explanations of the animals and feedings as well as collaborative nighttime illuminations and musical displays in the Botanical Garden for an even more exotic jungle experience.
Food trucks too make an appearance and exploration kits with different missions around the park as well as other fun programs offer fun no matter your age!

◆Event details◆

● Night Zoo
Something about the animals seems a little different… That's right—A bunch of different animals, like lions and giraffes, become active when the summer heat goes away and the nighttime rolls in. You may even be able to meet Earth, the new Amur tiger who recently joined the Toyohashi Zoo & Botanical Park family!

• Night Zoo-only caretakers' animal explanations:
Animal caretakers offer explanations about the lesser panda, lion, Asian elephant, and more!
Area: In front of each animal's outside enclosure

• Feedings by caretakers
It's feeding time, and caretakers show you every bit of it! (Hippopotamus, Asian elephant, lesser panda, and giraffe feedings planned.)

• Exhibition times differ by animal.

● Amusement park
Both children and adults are free to ride the nine different attractions, such as the Non Hoi Rollercoaster, Ferris wheel, and more in the Amusement Park Zone.

● Night Museum
Your chance to see an exhibition of large ocean creatures like whales and dinosaur fossils lit up in blue for the first time in the mysterious Deep-Sea Blue Area. Mystical blue lighting plunges you into the marine world like you can't normally experience!

● Night Zoo Exploration Kit
Become part of a research team and search for animals wielding incredible weaponry and abilities in this special collaborative activity with the Natural History Museum. Meet legendary animals at your research's conclusion at the Night Museum and receive limited-time merchandise for taking part!
Start: In front of the Central Gate/East Gate (sales 5:00 pm–6:30 pm)
Goal: In front of the Natural History Museum (6:30 pm–8:30 pm)
Capacity: 500 guests/day

● Night Jungle
The Botanical Garden presents a collaborative display of a jungle, lighting, and music with illumination portraying fireflies and a glowing river making a first-time appearance! Experience for yourself what it must be like to walk through and explore a nighttime jungle!

Time: 5:00 pm–9:00 pm (admission until 8:30 pm)

● Non Hoi Night Gourmet Market
The Night Zoo offers an expanse of food trucks every night during the event period! Dine in the open air as you enjoy the delightful nighttime breeze off the water.

    From Toyohashi Station, take the JR Tokaido Line and get off at Futagawa Station. Approx. 6-min. walk from the South Exit.

    • Approx. 50 min. on Route 1 in the direction of Shizuoka from Otowa Gamagori Interchange on the Tomei Expressway. Turn right at the Doshokubutsuen stoplight.
