Enjoy the natural surroundings of the abandoned railway and the gorge in spring, bringing together the green leaves and the Aigi Tunnel Group’s red brick tunnels which have remained in place ever since the railway track opened in 1900 along the Shonai River Gorge.
The sight of the koinobori, or carp streamers, dancing in the wide open sky is especially photogenic! There are also lots of other good photo spots to be found.

EVENT OVERVIEW

Date	: April 27th (Wednesday) to May 1st (Sunday), 2022 *: Cancelled in the case of rain
Holding time	: 9:30 AM - 3:00 PM (admission until 2:00 PM)
Place	: Aigi Tunnel Group : There will be a reception tent. : Entering the area is prohibited outside of designated opening days.
Location	: 〒487-0004 Tamano-cho, Kasugai-City, Aichi Prefecture, Japan
Fee	: 100 yen/person (elementary school students and younger free of charge) *: Prior reservations not required.

Notes	: ○ Ballast (crushed stone) remains on the abandoned railway line. Please wear shoes that are easy to walk in. ○ Pets are not allowed to enter. ○ During the event period, bento lunch boxes, drinking water and so on will be sold at the venue. ○ Event contents subject to change depending on the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) situation.
