The Inazawa Sand Festa is an exhibition festival with themes that change annually, featuring large sculptures (1.8 meters high x 3.0 meters wide x 2.4 meters deep) made with sand removed from riverbeds and embankments. Other festive attractions may include experiential workshops, food court and others. In 2022, the theme will be "Another Sky" - A Place of Longing", featuring twelve sculptures.

*: Given that this event happens during the typhoon season, there are occasions when the sculptures are damaged in the days just before the festival, due to wind or excessive rain. If the damage is deemed irreparable, the monuments may be exhibited as they are. Also, checking of weather conditions prior to the visit is encouraged, due to the outdoor nature of the event.
