A collaboration between floats and fireworks

The festival for Yasaka Jinja Shrine is held annually for two days in late July, with fireworks shot from handheld straw-wrapped bamboo tubes and flowing down a river's surface, traditional Japanese-style parade floats, dances, and more.
You can also soak in an outdoor bath at the nearby Toei Onsen spa as you watch the fireworks!
