This event started in 2003. During the Odo Yumekake Furin Wind Chimes Fair, the Odo area is filled with the refreshing sounds of the wind chimes and the murmur of the river.
In addition to writing wishes on strips of paper attached to the wind chimes, copying Buddhist sutras, or meditating at Furinji Temple (Zofukuji Temple), other events such as wind chime painting and summer holiday handicraft classes are held along the Odo Shopping Street, which bustles with visitors.
