The Perfect Place for a Drive Date Outing!

The Mt. Sangane Skyline Road (Sanganesan Skyline) is famous for its other nickname, "Hydrangeas Line" (Ajisai Line). From June to mid-July, the approx. 70,000 hydrangea bushes planted along its course start to proudly blossom, so the whole month of June is dedicated to the Mt. Sangane Hydrangeas Festival.

Among the events, the main attraction is the Hydrangea Festival held for two days in mid-June at the peak of Mt. Sangane, using as venue the parking lot and other facilities built there. Draws with prizes such as stays in local hotels, sales of local food and crafts, Japanese Taiko drums performances and other cultural events entertain the visitors.

• Gamagori City Day
June 4 (Saturday) and 5 (Sunday)
The first 100 cars to enter the toll booth each day will receive a gift upon toll payment (Light/Small and Passenger vehicles, and Motorcycles).

• Nishio City Day
June 11 (Saturday)
The first 200 cars to enter the toll booth each day will receive a gift upon toll payment (Light/Small and Passenger vehicles, and Motorcycles).

• Hydrangea Festival
June 12 (Sunday) 9:30 AM to 3:00 PM
Main event day with attractions such as product exhibitions, lottery, potted hydrangea seedling gifts, Japanese Taiko drum performances, balloon art shows, etc.

• Aichi Dourokousha Day
June 18 (Saturday) and 19 (Sunday)
The first 100 cars to enter the toll booth each day will receive a gift upon toll payment (Light/Small and Passenger vehicles, and Motorcycles).

• Kota Town Day
June 25 (Saturday) and 26 (Sunday)
The first 100 cars to enter the toll booth each day will receive a gift upon toll payment (Light/Small and Passenger vehicles, and Motorcycles).

•From Nagoya Station, take the JR Tokaido line. Alight at Gamagori station and take Meitetsu Gamagori line. Alight at Higashi-Hazu Station and take a taxi for approx. 15 minutes.
