Komaki Castle is a small but historically important castle first built by warlord Oda Nobunaga, later becoming one of the sights of the Battle of Komaki and Nagakute. Last year the castle was also chosen in the second selection of Japan's Top 100 Castles. During the most beautiful time of year, Mt. Komaki is covered with light pink cherry blossoms and the Cherry Blossoms Festival takes place. Come visit on April 2nd (Saturday) and 3rd (Sunday), when lots of events are held.
