A great festival of gigantic fireworks decorating the Port of Nagoya!

The Marine Day Nagoya Port Festival and Fireworks is a traditional event of Nagoya and Minato-Ward region. A day with plenty of events for all ages, crowned by the majestic fireworks display at night. Large fireworks pieces launched in sequence with a choreography of lights and sound make for an awesome and unforgettable event.

-Traditional Minyo-Odori Folk Song and Dance by the local Ladies' Associations, et al.

◘Paintings & Photographic Exhibit

-"Taiko" Japanese Drums and Performing Arts festival by groups of the Aichi Prefecture
•4:45 PM to 5:30 PM – Jazz Concert
-Free Hills Jazz Orchestra

Venue: From Nishi-Tsukiji Elementary School to the Garden Pier
-Japan Unicycling Association, Japan Ground Self Defense Force 10th Band, Aichi Sangyo University Technical High School, Nagoya Keizai University Ichimura Junior & Senior High Schools, Nagoya Golden Twirlers, Japan Sea Cadets, etc.

4:30 PM to 8:00 PM
◘Dashi Floats and Nagashi-Odori Dancers Procession
Venue: From Tsukiji Shrine to the Garden Pier
-Parade with the Local Floats and "Nagashi Odori" dance performance by the local Ladies' Associations.

◘"So-Odori" Dance
Venue: Garden Pier Gathering Square (ガーデンふ頭つどいの広場 Gadenfuto Tsudoi-no-Hiroba)
