- Nishiura Onsen
Located at the tip of Nishiura Peninsula, Nishiura Onsen features large ryokans with ocean views lined up on a steep hill extending from the coast line. The scenery here is so beautiful that it often used to draw Manyo poets to visit. The hot spring features waters of various chemical qualities, from simple alkaline and simple green vitriol springs, to chloride springs amongst others. A gentle sandy beach is adjacent, so the spring is visited by sea swimmers in summer.
